This is a summary of what I’ve learned so far.
I know we’re all writing because we want fans who buy our books and tell us how great we are, but you don’t get very far in the industry unless you ‘re willing to play a supporting role, too.
As I first started to make connections and friends in the writing field last year, I was eager to do just about anything any of them asked me to. The problem with rookie authors, though, is that they don’t always know what to ask for, and more experienced authors sometimes assume you already know what to do for them.
